Right-clicking on a Bed allows you to choose the Sleep option. This will instantly log you off - otherwise, there's a 20 second timer.
Only one character can Sleep in a Bed at a time, an occupied Bed will have the blankets pulled up. Destroying a Bed with a Sleeping character in it will not harm or summon the character.
Sleeping in a Bed will increase your rate of Inspiration regen. Beds also cap the maximum amount of Inspiration that can be gained in a single Sleep session. Simply put the better the Bed the more Inspiration gained. A Leafy Bed caps inspiration gains at 100,000.
Sleeping in a bed will reset your Insanity to the lowest point of your current Madness Level after 8 hours of sleep. Beds will not lower Madness levels unless you go to Sleep with a Teddybear as well.
