In-Game Text

"Whereupon the judge telling him that the tongs could not be lost there, because that was the proper place they should be in, and finding the fellow to be simple, he directed the jury to bring him in guilty only of petty Larceny."

– Captain Alexander Smith, A Complete History of the Lives and Robberies of the Most Notorious Highwaymen, Footpads, Shoplifts and Cheats of Both Sexes

Have things gone missing around the Homestead lately? Perchance were they misplaced? Mayhaps you are growing old, with little pieces of memory daily slipping ever away from within the hitherto safe & sacred confines of your mind? Unto those who will not be growing old Larceny grants the ability to steal items of Homesteaded property.

About

Larceny requires you to first activate Criminal Acts icon.png Criminal Acts on the Adventure icon.png Adventure menu. Where Trespassing allows you to enter claims to see what's there, Larceny will allow you to take any items of interest that you may find.

WARNING! Larceny will leave a Scent that could have consequences!
NOTE: Your homestead (lean-to or claim stone) can be looted even if your character is offline. A player can therefore steal from your inventory and the items equipped on your character if they gain access to your homestead. Additionally if your character appears in Providence upon logging in whereas you logged out elsewhere, it means that your homestead was destroyed (this automatically removes your inventory contents and gear).
