By Mid Game you may be thinking about setting up a permanent settlement. When choosing a location Hollow Logs and Hollow Stumps are a valuable indicator of how often an area is visited; the more often other pilgrims visit that area, the more full the the Hollow Logs and Hollow Stumps will be.
