With the Forestry skill learned, right-clicking a Grand Maple Tree with Any Axe equipped and selecting "Strike Cutting", will give you a Grand Maple Cutting. This Cutting can planted in a Gardening Pot to grow a Grand Maple Tree. Planting in Gardening Pots lowers Insanity.
