Feeding Domesticated AnimalsDomesticated Animals must eat once per day from a Food Trough. All Domesticated Animals eat at least 2 Food per day, but will eat more food the lower their Metabolism Stat is. A Food Trough must be placed within range of a Domesticated Animal in order for it to find it. Each time a Domesticated Animal eats it will poop. A Food Trough can hold up to 500 Food and has a range of 22 tiles in diameter. Although a Food Through can NOT be built inside a Barn it can be Lifted and carried inside. Goats that are Acting out due to high Temperament may Flip the their Food Trough. If this happens the Food inside will be lost, and no other Animal will be able to eat from the Food Trough until you right-click it and select "Flip Over". WARNING! When Flipping over a Food Trough there is a chance for it to Break!
