About

A Blueback Tuna icon.png Blueback Tuna can be caught by chance when Fish icon.png Fishing in Salt Water.

Fish have a variable weight, starting from .50 kilograms and moving up. For every .25 kilograms of weight you will receive a Filet of Blueback Tuna icon.png Filet of Blueback Tuna when right-clicking a Blueback Tuna and selecting "Butcher". Additionally Fish weight gives a bonus to the Gluttony Value when Drying a Blueback Tuna on a Drying Frame icon.png Drying Frame to produce a Dried Blueback Tuna icon.png Dried Blueback Tuna.

How to Fish

  1. Select Any Bait icon.png Any Bait and right-click it onto Any Casting Rod icon.png Any Casting Rod. Lures can later be removed by right-clicking the Rod.
  2. Equip your now baited Rod to you right hand slot.
  3. Select Fish icon.png Fish action, this will cause the cursor to change.
  4. Click on any Body of Water. Casting a Rod removes a small amount of Insanity.
  5. If Any Fish icon.png Any Fish bites it will be transferred automatically to your Inventory. There is a chance nothing bites. Each time you cast it adds wear to both your Lure and your Rod. When the wear reaches 100% it will break. Wear is reduced by your Flora & Fauna icon.png Flora & Fauna Proficiency.

Although still being tested, the strongest factors for catching a particular Fish seem to be whether it is Salt or Fresh Water and individual water tile being Fished from. Bait has a small influence and Rod does not seem to have any.
