Birch Bark can be harvested from birch trees.

To harvest, you simply right-click a birch tree and from the menu choose 'Peel Bark'. If you do not see such an option, you either clicked the wrong type of tree, or someone has already harvested all the bark before you.

With the [[Bark Gathering]] Skill learned, {{i|{{PAGENAME}}}} can be harvested by right-clicking a {{i|Birch Tree}} and selecting "Peel Bark". Birch Bark can be boiled in a {{i|Clay Pot}} or {{i|Copper Pot}} to make {{i|Soaked Bark}} and {{i|Tanning Fluid}}. {{PAGENAME}} can be stored in a {{i|Stockbin}}. While {{PAGENAME}} will eventually re-grow, it is generally much faster to Chop down your Birch Tree and re-Plant it.

Each tree can only yield 2 pieces of bark before being depleted. Assuming birch bark operates like [[Maple Leaf|Maple Leaves]], the world will respawn the trees based on decay ticks.  This needs to be confirmed.
