About A Beaver is a non-aggressive Creature which can be found most commonly in The Shallows, on Beaches or in the Marshland biome. Combat Behavior Attack Blood Damage Effects Bite 3 Bleed Tail Slash 3 Reel Whirling Dance of Doom 1 Reel Beavers are non-aggressive so unless provoked Beavers will not attack. Beavers CANNOT Swim. Bite is a Beaver's main attack and each time it lands it will stack Bleed. Beavers will also occasionally turn around to use Tail Slash which, if it connects, will add a large amount of Reel. When a Beavers is aggroed and it's prey is too far away a Beaver will initiates a Whirling Dance of Doom where it spins around out of control. The Whirling Dance of Doom will cause other nearby Beavers to also start spinning and attack you. When fighting a Beaver it is best to stay up close, or run away when the Whirling Dance of Doom begins and wait for it to end. Beavers are immune to Venom Darts. Resources A Beaver carcass will Decay in about 2 days. With the Beaver Skinning Skill learned, Skinning a Beaver will yield 1x Raw Beaver Pelt. NOTE: It is important to Skin the carcass first, otherwise the Butchering will ruin the Hide. With all relevant Butchering Skills learned, Butchering a Beaver will always yield: 1x Brains 2x Raw Beaver Steaks 5x Raw Beaver Cuts 5x Meat Shreds 2x Bones With the Boneworks Skill learned, Deboning a Beaver will yield: 4x Bones Cracked Bones There is a chance to get various rare items from Butchering. This chance is much higher with the Viscera & Bits Skill learned. 1x Beaver Tail 1x Fine Beaver Teeth 1-2x Gelatinous Lards - Beavers fatten up to stay warm during a Coldsnap, increasing the amount of Gelatinous Lard you receive.
