About5x Flint & Steel is obtained from the Store bought Flint & Steel Pack, or 1x, along with other helpful items, from the Store bought Noobie Pack. Flint & Steel is Primary Sources of Fire with 10x uses. To use Flint & Steel, select it and right-click it on the Structure or Item you want to light. Each time a Fire is started a use is consumed. Unlike the craftable Tinder Drill, Flint & Steel, Fire is guaranteed, there is no chance of breaking, and lights about twice as fast. When lighting a Fire with Flint & Steel there is a good chance to receive a Precious Soot-Flake.
