What template?

maybe new one?--Some Shroom 14:52, 2 September 2012 (CDT)

because we can't add Crafted Food with any cut to examples, like "raw beaver cut"--Some Shroom 14:53, 2 September 2012 (CDT)
Could you explain a bit clearer what you want from the template (be as precise as possible please) and then I will try work something out. Bluestone 15:00, 2 September 2012 (CDT)
A "huntable" or "hunted from" template would seem to be the best solution. G1real 12:32, 7 December 2012 (CST)
The any concept applies to more than just huntable items (for instance, any flour). We need to be able to use it in various crafting recipe as a collection of items without needing to specify how the items are obtained in this template (just a list of the things that are part of the collection should be sufficient).
Now for the hard part: the use of these pages in recipes disguises the real dependencies (for instance, which recipes are Raw Beaver Cuts used in?). We will need to add special case tests to the requirement lists so that all entries of the collection page are marked as requirements so that required by lists of the individual items include the objects created using the collection page. The recipe page would still show the Any Raw Meat Cut item in the recipe, but the recipe would be seen in the Any Raw Meat Cut page as well as the individual raw meat cut pages. --Swordmage 14:41, 7 December 2012 (CST)
On second thought... maybe if we just create a collection template, we don't really need to do anything stranger for the requirements lists (for example, with the change G1real made for Crickebab we see that the any page is a object that requires Witch's Hat and going there we see Cricketbab. It is important that the collection be categorized as Category:Objects. --Swordmage 14:53, 7 December 2012 (CST)
