The Dig action allows you to Dig on most Biomes. Digging consumes Phlegm. Equipping Any Shovel will reduce both the time it takes to Dig and the Phlegm it costs. The better the Shovel the faster you will Dig.

Additionally, once the Flowers & Berries skill has been learned, with a Shovel equipped Dig can be used to uproot a {[i|Bush}} to allow it to be moved to another location. Currently the Woodworking Artifact Bonus only works to speed up the uprooting of Bushes.
A Wooden Shovel can be carried in either a Journeyman Toolbelt, Novice Toolbelt, or the Master Toolbelt, additionally it can be stored in a Wooden Toolbox.
NOTE: Whittling a Wooden Shovel on a Whittler's Bench removes a small amount of Insanity
WARNING! Using an Shovel with higher Madness levels runs the risk of it permanently becoming an unusable Questionably Effective Shovel.
