Found in over-abundance in the Woodland biome. Squirrels only to be picked up rather than killed or knocked out.
Wringing the Neck of a Squirrel adds a small amount of Insanity.

When Catching a Squirrel there is also a chance to receive one of the following nuts: 
Hickory Nut, 
Myrtle Oak Acorn, 
Pine Nuts, or a 
Stray Chestnut.
With all butchering skills acquired (Field Dressing, Butcher's Thrift , Butchery, Tanning and Venison Cuisine), butchering a Squirrel yield:
Raw Squirrel Pelt x 1
Raw Squirrel Cut x 1
Their Pelt dries very fast and could be sold for 1 Silver in Providence.
