About
Chopping down a Spruce Tree will leave a Tree Stump behind. Using the 
Destroy action on this Tree Stump will give you Spruce Roots and 
Woodblocks. However, if you wait too long, approximately three weeks, your Tree Stump will become a Hollow Stump and will no longer give Spruce Roots when Destroyed. Spruce Roots counts as a 
Fibre in recipes.
