Frontier & Wilderness icon.png Frontier & Wilderness Increasing your value in Frontier & Wilderness decreases the wear on your Fishing Equipment. Also increases your chance of successfully getting a cutting from a tree.

Caps fish purity

Hammer & Nail icon.png Hammer & Nail Increases your chance of success when planing boards.
Hunting & Gathering icon.png Hunting & Gathering Caps foraged herbs purity
Law & Lore icon.png Law & Lore
Mines & Mountains icon.png Mines & Mountains Increasing your value in Mines & Mountains reduces your risk of falling when climbing, and also the damage you take when you do fall.

Caps Quarried stone and foraged minerals purity. Reduces the risk of cave-ins when mining.

Pots & Pans icon.png Pots & Pans caps Dug-out, natural clay purity.

Stocks & Cultivars icon.png Stocks & Cultivars Increasing your value in Stocks & Cultivars increases the maximum amount of plenty that will be randomly added to fields when you plant them. It also increases your chance of successfully getting a tree sprouting and getting a cutting from a tree with Forestry.

Note on the influence of proficiencies on "successfully taking a cutting":

This is worded slightly wrong: it increases the chance of getting a successfull cutting from a tree, rather than successfully getting a cutting from a tree. Tests have shown that the proficiencies of the person to take the cuttings also matter in survival percentages.
