Allows you to "chip stone" at increased speed and reduced phlegm cost and is the minimum requirement for mining ore.

Since you need a pickaxe to start mining, but you can't craft one without iron, this is the first test a pilgrim will meet at trading. It is suggested you visit the trading forums at forum.salemthegame.com to find a seller, you can however buy one from the npcs in town or from the Player Stalls.
