With Any Axe equipped Woodblocks can be chopped from Hollow Logs, Logs, and Woodpiles. Each time a Woodblock is Chopped there is a chance to get a Knotted Wood Block instead. It costs 0.1-0.2 Phlegm for each Woodblock cut from a Log. Chopping Woodblocks from a Wood Pile is significantly faster.

Caution: An Knotted Wood Block counts as a Woodblock in recipes, when crafting make sure the correct item selected.
