About

A Flintlock Pistol icon.png Flintlock Pistol can be purchased from Flint Gunderson in Providence for 350x Silver Pieces icon.png Silver Pieces. When Shot, a Flintlock Pistol will drain 10% of your Black Bile and deal damage equal to 15% of your opponents Blood. Unlike other Firearms you can use two Flintlock Pistols at the same time, however the At the Ready icon.png At the Ready Combat Maneuver does not reduce a Flintlock Pistol's channel time. A Flintlock Pistol can be hung on a wall.

Shooting Firearms

With the Firearms Skill learned and a loaded Firearm type Weapon equipped, pilgrims can use the Shoot icon.png Shoot Combat Move. To load a Firearm, equipped any Firearm then select 5 grams of Gunpowder icon.png Gunpowder or a filled Powder Horn icon.png Powder Horn and right-click it on your Firearm. Repeat the process with your Musket Balls icon.png Musket Balls. To Shoot, click the Shoot Attack and then click the cursor in the direction you wish to Shoot. This will cause the action will channel as you aim your Firearm - using the At the Ready icon.png At the Ready Combat Maneuver reduces this channel time. Once the channel is complete your Firearm will Shoot in the direction you chose, however, if the target has moved, you will miss, so aim well. Shots do not travel over solid objects. Being shot with a Firearm does % Blood damage and causes to be temporarily Snared icon.png Snared for about 30 seconds. Each shot use 5x grams of Gunpowder and 1x Musket Ball. Shooting Creatures instead does a base amount of damage which is modified by chance. Shooting a Firearm will drain a percentage of your Black Bile. Damage from a Firearm is increased by your Common Combat Power Artifact Bonus and Common Combat Defense Artifacts will reduce the damage you take from a Firearm.
