Destroy is used to remove buildings and tree stumps and drains phlegm.
Wielding a 
Wooden Shovel or, better, a 
Metal Shovel seems to improve destruction.
Each object has a Soak value, which is the minimun phlegm needed to damage the object. The damage done is related to your current phlegm level and the soak value, so your rate of destruction slows down as your phlegm is drained.
