By learning Survival Skills you have earned yourself a complimentary Wilderness or Homestead Spawn to be provided in Boston by a Wilderness Guide of your choice.

When you have used your complementary Wilderness or Homestead Spawn, additional Wilderness Spawns can be purchased at a cost of Silver Pieces x30 each.
Additional Homestead Spawns cannot be purchased, and learning the Technology The Rights of Englishmen will also remove your ability to purchase further Wilderness Spawns.

Tip

Wilderness Spawns are an excellent way of setting up a new little camp for yourself in some benign and relatively uncolonized neck of the woods.

Homestead Spawns require that you know the Homestead Secret of another Pilgrim who has already settled in the world, and will place you somewhere on that players Claim.
Use a Homestead Spawn if you wish to set up camp with a friend who is already playing.
