Braziers will drain 3 Black Bile "per hit" from nearby enemies in your claim. Source
- This drain is reduced ( dmg = basedmg / (1 + N*0.2) ) when within the range of other Torch Posts or Blazing Braziers
- The effective range was confirmed by devs to be 250 pixels, which makes almost 23 tiles (11 pixels per tile)
- You do not need to "light" a blazing brazier, it will automatically ignite when it detects enough crimes near it, as long as it has coal. For example 3 wastes (vandalism) are enough to activate a brazier, which means that an enemy can destroy 2 walls without activating a brazier.
