To use for smoking, put the grown Tobacco Leaves in a Drying Frame to turn them into Dry Tobacco Leaves, then shred the leaves. You need 12 Dry Tobacco Leaves and a grinder to do it. Craft in Processing & Materials-menu.
Unlike other crops, the number of seeds obtained when harvesting depends on the affluence of the clothing you are wearing. Clothing with +700 affluence will give 26 seeds, so this is the minimum affluence needed to replant without Plantation Management.

The specific type of Tobacco is dependent on the tier of the Field it was harvested from (see Agriculture for more on field tiers).
