It drains 3 Black Bile "per hit" of nearby enemies in your claim. Source
- This drain is reduced ( dmg = basedmg / (1 + N*0.2) ) when within the range of other Torch Posts or Blazing Braziers
- The effective range was confirmed by devs to be 250 pixels, which makes almost 23 tiles (11 pixels per tile)
- You don't need to "light" a blazing brazier, it will automatically light itself when it detects enough crimes near it as long as it has coal. For example 3 wastes (vandalisms) are enough to activate brazier, which means that enemy can destroy 2 walls without activating braziers.
- Braziers activation is global - all braziers on claim activate at the same time.
- Braziers with more than 50% damage will not attack until it's repaired
- When the brazier attacks you literally seem a black line from the brazier to you hit you, it does hit for about every second maybe faster
