Recieved by chance when Sifting Rubble. Finding a Gem while Sifting reduces a bit of Insanity.
Each Gemstone has a Hardness which refers to its success odds when Cutting on a Gemcutter's Wheel. Gemstones also have a variable number of carats which can give a bonus to the gem's Affluence when cut on the Gemcutter's Wheel.
