Attempting to select a Slimed Hide has a chance of it splitting into 2x Divsionating Slimes. Clicking on a Divsionating Slime will further split it into 2 more Divsionating Slimes. Instead, the way to remove it from your Inventory you need to scroll, or shift + left-click, it to a Container.
