The Slingshot is the first Ranged Weapon available in the game. Although the Slingshot doesn't do much Blood damage it can be a useful tool for hunting, as it allows you to initiate Combat without the Creature running away. The Slingshot uses Any Stones as ammunition, but does not need to be loaded; instead it will use Stones from you inventory so be careful not have any rare inpirationals which counts as Stones in your inventory when using the Slingshot. To Shoot a Slingshot, you must equipped it to the Left Hand, then click the Shoot Attack and click the cursor in the direction you wish to Shoot. After a moment you will Shoot your Slingshot in the direction you chose, if the target has moved, you will miss, so aim well. Shots do not travel over solid objects.

Slingshot Blood Damage seems to be around 0.5*sqrt(YB/10). This probably won't kill the Creature you are Shooting at, but if Fired from a distance, it will give you time ready another Attack before the Creature gets to you.
