Clicking with your mouse-cursor will aim the shot at wherever you clicked.  Your character will grasp the slingshot in their Left hand while pulling back with their Right.  The right-hand will shift around a bit while "taking aim", but this should not be confused with swinging a Sling (as opposed to a Slingshot) around in the air with your Right hand, since Slings are not in the game.

When the shot is fired, a white line will trace it's trajectory to the target, and the fist-sized rock you just hurled will do a trivial amount of damage and serve only to make the creature angry.  Be prepared to engage in combat now, since a homicidal bunny rabbit (Or whatever you attacked) will be barreling down at you, thirsting for blood.  if you fired from maximum range, you should have time to perform a [[Stomp]], but it's safer to be ready with a more direct attack instead, like [[Uppercut]] or [[Thrust]].
