Silk Runner spiders are unique Creatures to the {{i|Greenwood]] Biome. Silk Runners are usually passive unless attacked, however, there is a very small chance when picking up an Abandoned Cobweb a Silk Runner spider will jump out and attack you. When attacked, they can shoot up to 3 silk nets to ensnare their attacker.
When picking up a Dead Silk Runner there is a small chance to receive a Bug in a Blanket. Right-clicking and selecting Release on a Bug in a Blanket will give you another Abandoned Cobweb and a Beetle, or a rarely a Ladybug, or a Giant Willow Aphid.
A Dead Silk Runner can be Boiled to make receive Tuft of Spider Silk or rarely Spider Egg Sacs. To Boil, place Fuel and Light your Fireplace. Fill your Clay Pot or Copper Pot with Potable Water and then place over your lit Fireplace. Click your Pot, select Open and put in the item you wish to Boil. When your item is done Boiling, its icon will change. This item needs about 30 minutes to Boil.
