Parry is a combat move which will block an incoming attack from the direction you are facing if used just as the attack lands.  To use Parry, you must have [[En Garde!]] active.  A successful Parry will stun the opponent, an unsuccessful Parry will stun the user.

Parry Combat Move

With the Fencing Skill learned and a Sword type Weapon equipped, pilgrims can toggle on the En Garde! icon.png En Garde! Combat Maneuver. Toggling on En Garde! allows you to use the Parry icon.png Parry Combat Move. A successful Parry will block any Thrust icon.png Thrust coming from the direction you are facing and cause your Attacker to be Stunned icon.png Stunned. An unsuccessful Parry will instead cause you to become briefly Stunned. En Garde! is mutually exclusive with Run icon.png Run which means that you will sacrifice maneuverability to use this Move.
