About An Oyster is a passive Creature which can be found in The Shallows of the New World. Oysters are not fought but rather must be clicked on and scooped up into your inventory. Selecting a Sharpened Stick from your inventory and Right-clicking it on an Oyster will Dissect it. Additionally Oysters can be found in Shellfish Traps which have been baited and placed in Deep Water. An Oyster can be smoked Meatsmoker to make a Smoked Oyster. Resources Dissecting an Oyster will yield: Oyster Shell x 1 Raw Oyster Meat x 1 Random chance to get various rare items from Butchering. Pearl x 1 Dissecting a Smoked Oyster will yield: Oyster Shell x 1 Smoked Oyster Meat x 1 Random chance to get various rare items from Butchering. Black Pearl x 1
