The toolbelts, rather than being slottable, allow you to carry extra tools with you while you work. You can only carry hand tools in them, no weapons or other items. It is possible to teleport with items in your toolbelt without dropping them first.

The Novice Toolbelt contains 4 slots and can be made easily from foraged items.

Other toolbelts include the Journeyman Toolbelt and the Master Toolbelt.
