To Shoot a Gun it must first be equipped. Make sure you have learned the Firearms Skill and that both hands are empty and equip the gun in the Left-hand slot. First select Gunpowder from your inventory and right-click it on your now-equipped Gun. Repeat the process with your Musket Balls. Click the Shoot Attack and click the cursor in the direction you wish to Shoot, this will drain about 20% of your Black Bile. It will take moment for you to Aim the Gun and Shoot, using the At the Ready Action reduces this time. After a moment you will Shoot your Gun in the direction you chose, if the target has moved, you will miss, so aim well. Shots do not travel over solid objects.

Shooting another Pilgrim does high Blood and will caused them to be Snared, which slows their movement speed for a great deal of time.
