Hideworking allows the player to skin a deer or bear corpse, but not a beaver corpse. To skin beavers requires Beaver Skinning.

In-game text

Many are the Pilgrims who have succumbed to the at times harsh climes and environs of the New World for lack of adequate garments and clothing. Hasten not to join their ranks and to become one woeful brother among them. Hideworking allows you to skin the hides of animals, and to construct Drying Frames to cure them.
