In-Game Text
"As to their clothes, observe how little work is spent in them; while they are at labour they are clothed with leather and skins, cut carelessly about them, which will last seven years [...]"
-Sir Thomas Moore, Utopia
Many are the Pilgrims who have succumbed to the at times harsh climes and environs of the New World for lack of adequate garments and clothing. Hasten not to join their ranks and to become one woeful brother among them. Hideworking allows you to skin the hides of animals, and to construct Drying Frames to cure them.
About
Skinning Beavers requires the Beaver Skinning skill.
Dead players can also be 'skinned' with this skill, but it will leave only a skeleton behind. No 'player skin' will be obtained.
