About A Crab is a passive Creature which can be commonly found on Beaches and The Shallows. Crabs are not fought but rather must be clicked on and scooped up into your inventory. Selecting Any Stone from your inventory and Right-clicking it on a Crab will Dissect it. Additionally Crabs can be found in Shellfish Traps which have been baited and placed in Deep Water. Both Crab Claws and Gnarly Old Shield can also be Dissected with Any Stone to receive more Crab Meat. Alternatively, a Crab can be cooked whole in a Fireplace to make Cooked King Crab. Resources Dissecting a Crab will yield: Crab Meat x 1 Random chance to get various rare items from Butchering. Crab Claw x 1 Gnarly Old Crab Shield x 1 Scuttling Crab Legs x 1 Shellfish Salt Water Only Both Salt and Freshwater Ill-Tempered Lobster Crab Crawdad Mermaid's Purse Oyster
