To open a Crab select a 
Any Stone from your inventory and right-click it on the Crab to receive 
Crab Meat, uncommonly a 
Crab Claw or 
Gnarly Old Crab Shield, and rarely a 
Scuttling Crab Legs. Both Crab Claws and Gnarly Old Shield can also be opened to receive more Crab Meat. Alternatively, a Crab can be cooked in a 
Fireplace to make 
Cooked King Crab.
A 
Shellfish Trap must be placed in 
The Deep to catch Shellfish.
