Left click bucket of water and right click on the soap to receive cloud of lather. After doing so 4 times the bar of soap is consumed. There is a random chance that you will instead get a Rainbow Soap Bubble.

Soap can no longer be sold at Vendor Stalls if you made 3 lathers, you have to either sell the soap or make the lathers. As long as you make only 2 lathers per bar of soap you can still sell them. The lathers are a good inspirational, and there really is no way not to make 2 lathers per soap before selling it (any rainbow bubble will also subtract from this amount).
