Gemstones Any Raw Gem can be cut into a Gemstone using a Gemcutter's Wheel with the success determined by the Hardness of the Raw Gem. The Carats of the Raw Gem and the complexity of the cut will give a bonus to the Cut Gem's Affluence, however the more complex the cut the more Hardness is added at the time of the cut. An unsuccessful Cut will destroy your Raw Gem and replace it with 2x Gem Shards and 1x Fractured Gemstone.
