Deep in the mines these radiant lumps of beauty are found, these fruits of the earth. But, like any other natural product, it must be tooled. Elementary Gem Cutting teaching the basics of how to grant shape to gems, increasing their beauty and thus their affluence when worn on clothing.
Gemstones
Any Raw Gem can be Cut into a Gemstone for Slotting into clothes on a Gemcutter's Wheel with the success determined by the Hardness of the Raw Gem. There are four different Cut types and each adds a bit of extra Hardness to the Raw Gem. The more advanced the Cut, the more Hardness is added. An unsuccessful Cut will replace your Raw Gem with 2x Gem Shards and 1x Fractured Gemstone.
