As well as the standard terrain types, Salem is dotted with the occasional trail. These are brown, muddy-looking streaks resembling roadways, are of varying length and seem to be placed quite randomly. It is not known whether these are simply to spice up the landscape and act as landmarks or if they will have some other purpose in the future. Digging over one yields only dirt.
