About

While placed in a lit Stove, the Colliquative Pressure Cooker slowly equalizes the two highest alchemical dimensions of items placed in it at the higher of the two dimensions. The Pressure Cooker ticks at roughly one hour, depending on its overall purity. Higher purity values result in shorter tick times.

The purity dimensions of an item, which is placed in the Pressure Cooker for one tick, change according to the following formulas:

Sorted values: [a, b, c, d], with 1 >= a >= b >= c >= d >= 0
anew = a
bnew = b + 0.01
cnew = c - 0.01 * c / (c + d)
dnew = d - 0.01 * d / (c + d)

The process will stop if the value of the second highest dimension equals the value of the highest. At this point the instability of the item will not increase anymore.

For an item, which is used in an alchemical process for the first time, there appears to be a chance of 50% that its Instability Level increases to either "a bit" or "slightly". For every successive tick there apperas to be a 40% chance for an increment about 2 levels.

Warning: There is a chance that items, the Pressure Cooker and the stove are destroyed. While loss of items is relatively common, the risk of loosing the equipment is not that high at lower Instability Levels.

Approximated chances for an item being destroyed in the Pressure Cooker.
