About
Industrious Pilgrims who have learned the Mercantilism skill may rent their own stall to sell from. These Player Stalls are located in Providence to the South-East of the town-center, along the shoreline. Player Stalls have blue wwnings rather than the white awnings on NPC and Vendor Stalls. Pilgrims may only rent one Player Stall at a time.

Player Stalls have both an up front cost and a weekly rent fee of 400 Silver Pieces. Player Stalls closer to the town-center cost more up front to rent, 10,000x Silver Pieces, than those further back, whose up front cost are significantly less. Additionally, His Majesty extracts a 25% tax on every purchase made. He will take the first 400x Silver Pieces earned each week of this tax and use it to pay your weekly upkeep, but will continue to extract tax even after the rent has been paid. The cheapest Player Stalls, those closest to the Ocean, have a 35% tax. There is also one special Player Stall where His Majesty only takes 10% tax, but this Player Stall costs costs 100,000x Silver Pieces up front.

Silver earned through selling items in your Stall will be stored in the Stall's Reserve and can be withdrawn at will when interacting with the Stall.

Keep in mind it is important to pay your weekly rent. In the event that NOTHING sells on your stall for the week AND rent was not manually deposited. 2,500x Silver Pieces will be deducted from your Stall's Reserves. If your Stall's Reserves are empty AND you didn't deposit rent for that week, that Stall will be considered abandoned and will be put back out for other pilgrims to rent.

Note to Buyers: Player Stalls only indicate the number of items stored in a each slot, not the number of remaining uses, important on items such as Potions and Inspirationals. Therefore you may end up purchasing an item with less than the standard number of uses. Potential buyers are advised to purchase such items with caution.

Selling
Player Stalls have inventory slots for 10 different items, but each of those slots can be filled with up to 999x of that same item.

How to Sell:

# Name your Price. Type in the price you wish to sell your item for. Keep in mind that while the price can be lowered, it can never be lowered more than to half of the initial price.

# Set the amount. This is number of those items you wish to sell at that price. This is set to 1 by default but there are some situations where you may want to increase that, especially when selling items in bulk.

# Add an item. Right-click an item in your inventory and drop it into the slot with both a price and amount set.

# You can add more of the same item by repeating step 3 or by using the scroll wheel while hovering over that items slot.

CAUTION: Once an item is placed in your Stall you cannot get it back out. To empty a slot you must click Purge multiple times. This will Destroy all items in that slot.

Tax Refunds
His Majesty, in his graciousness and wisdom, refunds 20% of all taxes he earns from Player Stalls back to the Majors of the top 10 Towns in the New World. You can speak to Benjamin Bryberry to find out what are the top Towns.

Amounts refunded:

Town #1 38.53%
Town #2 23.81%
Town #3 14.72%
Town #4 9.09%
Town #5 5.63%
Town #6 3.46%
Town #7 2.16%
Town #8 1.30%
Town #9 0.87%
Town #10 0.43%

Towns who want a bigger cut of the tax refund can Challenge Authority of another top Town to lower their Authority and drop their rank.
