A Banjo can be received by chance from the Store bought Mystery Music Box.

Once the Musician Skill has been learned, pilgrims may play Notes on an Instrument at the cost of Inspiration. Playing Instruments will reduce your Instanity and playing Instruments from the Mystery Music Box will reduce the Insanity of nearby pilgrims as well. Additionally, once the Aeolian Skill has been learned, playing Notes on a Mystery Music Box Instrument will slowly begin to change the Biome around you.
