In-Game Text Excess of wealth is cause of covetousness. – Christopher Marlowe, 1564 - 1593 Unwilling to separate yourself from your worldly possessions, you have learned to fuel your need to store items on your person with your stubborn and fiery willpower! Learning to be a Packrat provides Pilgrims with an increased encumbrance maximum. Weight & Encumbrance All items, when picked up and placed into your Inventory or equipped, have a Weight. The total Weight of all items you are carrying is displayed in white font at the bottom of your Inventory. Once you pass your Carrying Capacity (indicated by the font color of your Weight changing from white to red) your Movement will begin to slow and you will no longer be able to Fast Travel until you get back down to Weight. You CAN however, go past your Carrying Capacity but your Movement will slow more and more until your reach your Encumbrance Limit where you will be barely able to move at all and can no longer carry any additional items. Being past your Carrying Capacity is known as being Over-Encumbered and drains small amounts of Yellow Bile. CAUTION: It IS possible to be Knocked Out due to being Over-Encumbered. Carrying Capacity Skills Skill Benefit Collector Adds 5 kilograms to your Carrying Capacity. Packrat Adds 10 kilograms to your Carrying Capacity. Hoarder Adds 20 kilograms to your Carrying Capacity.
