A  Hedge Seed can be found rarely when Rummaging through a  Squirrel Stash. With the Vineyards Skill learned, right-click a Hedge Seed onto the Cornerpost of a  Makeshift Fence. This will transform your Cornerpost into a Hedge. The hedge will slowly spread to connected Fence Segments until it reaches another corner post.
