A  Wartbite Cricket is a non-aggressive Creature which can be found abundantly in nearly all the biomes of the New World, and even inside the bellies of  Sperm Whales. Wartbite Crickets are usually found in groups of three.
Combat Behavior
Wartbite Crickets are non-aggressive so unless provoked Wartbite Crickets will typically not attack. Wartbite Crickets are easy to kill, needing only 2x Shots from a  Slingshot or a single  Stomp to kill it, although their speed and somewhat unpredictable movements can occasionally make that difficult.  Bite is a Wartbite Cricket's only attack.

NOTE: A Wartbite Cricket will be lost if killed over Shallow Water. A Wartbite Cricket, once killed, can be picked up and stored in your Inventory as a  Dead Wartbite Cricket. When picking up a Dead Wartbite Cricket there is a chance to receive a  Cricket Violin.
