About

Candies are not a Food Group per-se, but are a type of minor Restore Food. Candies are obtained by breaking open a Loot Pignatta or by gathering them from a Gingerbread House. All Candies can be stored a Candy Basket. Valentine Candies, while similar, are not Candies.

Hang a Loot Pignatta onto a Pignatta Pole by selecting a Loot Pignatta and right-clicking it into an empty Pinata Pole.
Equip a Blindfold to your Face slot.
Select a Wooden Handle and right-click it on the now hanging Loot Pignatta. You may have to do this quite a few times. If you manage to hit the Loot Pignatta it will break and scatter Candies across the ground.
These Candies must be picked up quickly or they will disappear. For this reason it may be best to break a Loot Pignatta with friends around to help.
