In-Game Text

"When the enemy tried to cut off [Caesar's] fleet, he was forced to repel the danger by using fire, and this spread from the dockyards and destroyed the great library;"

-Plutarch

There is no force so terrible, powerful, and hungry as fire. Most aggregious, the crime of Arson allows the ne'erdowell the ability to set certain Homestead structures ablaze. This is paramount to treason as His Majesty views any flame larger than a campfire to be a threat to the New World: his property.

Greek Fire

A House on Fire.

Certain Structures and most Buildings are difficult to Destroy icon.png Destroyed by normal means due to high Soak Values. With the Arson Skill learned, selecting Greek Fire icon.png Greek Fire and right-clicking it onto one of these structures will set it on Fire icon.png Fire. Once on Fire it will slowly take damage until it is fully Destroyed. Greek Fire does NOT need to be lit. At any point a structure on Fire can be doused by clicking a Vessel of Potable Water icon.png Potable Water on it. Using Greek Fire on land protected by a Claim will leave Evidence Vandalism.png Evidence of Waste.
