In-Game Text"Fencing (Right honorable) in this new fangled age, is like our fashions, every day a change, resembling the chameleon, who alters himself into all colors save white." – George Silver, Paradoxes of Defence Not all minds are noble that wield the noblest of weapons, and not only to noble designs do such weapons lend their employ. Fencing allows you to wield Swords and Rapiers. Thrust Attack MoveWith the Fencing Skill learned and a Sword type Weapon equipped, pilgrims can use the Thrust Combat Move. Thrust is a Piercing Attack which if it connects will deal a high amount of Blood damage. Thrust has a relatively long animation so it is often pair with other Combat Moves which apply the Stunned affect. Using Thrust consumes Yellow Bile and does Blood damage based on your current Yellow Bile, the Purity of your Sword, and your combined Piercing Power and Common Combat Power Artifact Bonus. Piercing Defense and Common Combat Defense Artifacts will reduce the damage you take from the Thrust Attack. Parry Combat MoveWith the Fencing Skill learned and a Sword type Weapon equipped, pilgrims can toggle on the En Garde! Combat Maneuver. Toggling on En Garde! allows you to use the Parry Combat Move. A successful Parry will block any Thrust coming from the direction you are facing and cause your Attacker to be Stunned. An unsuccessful Parry will instead cause you to become briefly Stunned. En Garde! is mutually exclusive with Run which means that you will sacrifice maneuverability to use this Move. Swords
