In-Game Text"Whereupon the judge telling him that the tongs could not be lost there, because that was the proper place they should be in, and finding the fellow to be simple, he directed the jury to bring him in guilty only of petty Larceny." – Captain Alexander Smith, A Complete History of the Lives and Robberies of the Most Notorious Highwaymen, Footpads, Shoplifts and Cheats of Both Sexes Have things gone missing around the Homestead lately? Perchance were they misplaced? Mayhaps you are growing old, with little pieces of memory daily slipping ever away from within the hitherto safe & sacred confines of your mind? Unto those who will not be growing old Larceny grants the ability to steal items of Homesteaded property. Committing LarcenyLarceny, otherwise known as Theft, is an act of Crime where protected items are taken by one pilgrim, from another. Generally this refers to items taken from areas protected by a Stake Claim or Town Bell, but additional acts of Larceny include L3wting items from a Lean-to, L3wting items from a Corpse, Grave Robbing, Desecrating a Skeleton, or Scalping a Corpse. Larceny will leave a Scent which will remain for 9 days. CAUTION: Stealing an item will drain a large amount of Black Bile. Stolen item carry their Scents with them and, unless used or modified in some way which changes the item, can be tracked until the original Larceny Scent disappears. Attempting to take a structure of of a Claim will drain 200 points of both Black Bile and Yellow Bile. NOTE: Only actually taking an item from a Lean-to is a Crime, there is nothing wrong with taking a little peak.
