About
Salem's world is made up of many unique terrain types or biomes.
Many of these are home to unique animal and item spawns, which are catalogued here.
Note that universal spawns (such as Flint and Smooth Stones) will be omitted.
Creature and item spawns are governed by the level of civilization in a particular area.
Please see the Darkness article for more specific information.

Lakes and Rivers

Also note that (currently) none of the water-based terrain types are dig-able, and that swamps are rather rare.
